Caffeine, a necessity?

These days, sleep is a precious rarity. Take your pick of a Mary Poppins carpet bag full of reasons: I have four children five years old and under, I have newborn twins that wake A LOT during the night, my newborn twins don't sleep that much during the day, the twins want to be held all the time, at least one person in the house is eating at any point during the day, the day goes on.

With the previous two children, I didn't consume any caffeine while nursing. None whatsoever.

But, I don't think any of us will survive if I don't have some caffeine once in awhile. But, I'm afraid, very afraid. I don't want the caffeine to reach the newborn twins, in such a way that the caffeine keeps them awake. Or gives them diarrhea. Without any coffee or caffeine whatsoever, we will all suffer. Over and out.

All that is to say, I couldn't bring myself to drink the entire beverage. What I drank is represented in the above photograph, the most recent time I purchased coffee.
